At first, the sample was extracted with HCW using a percolation type reactor 130℃ to remove the impurities such as tannin and essential oils, and treated at 200℃ for the solubization of hemicellulose (xylan) in kenaf core with two-step heating. The solubilized product yield of 130℃ fraction and 200℃ fraction were 5.0 and 43.3 wt%, respectively.\n Then, the obtainde 200℃ fraction was treated with four commercial enzymes {hemicellulase「Amaono」90 from Aspergillus niger, cellulase「Amaon」A from Aspergillus niger, cellulase onozuka 12S from Trichoderma viride, cellulase Y-2NC from Aspergillus niger}.\n The solubilized 200℃ fraction could be easily changed to xylose, xylobiose and xylotriose. The each maximum yield was 87.7 (Y-2NC,48hr.), 49.2(Amano 90, 4hr) and 31.4 (Amano A, 4hr.) wt% on xylan base,
