To clarify this, we carried out a content analysis of assignment reports before and\nafter the training. As a result, students conceptualized “connections to the community” before training using highly\nabstract words written directly from reference materials. However, students themselves had the chance to experience\ninteracting with locals following the hands-on training. We learned from this experience that community centers are\nplaces where people congregate, but we also learned that they are typically more geared toward older adults. As students,\nwe are working hard to make community centers a place that brings together different generations. It was possible to get a\nsense of what could be done and make specific suggestions at a behavioral level, such as what should be posted on
